Make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence!
Funny isn’t it?
how come we never consider it a wonder to live life?
A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present Seven Wonders of the World. Though there was some disagreement, the following got the most votes:
1. Egypt’s Great Pyramids
2. Taj Mahal
3. Grand Canyon
4. Panama Canal
5. Empire State Building
6. St. Peter’s Basilica
7. China’s Great Wall
While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one quiet student hadn’t turned in her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list. The girl replied, “Yes, a little. I couldn’t quite make up my mind because there wee so many.” The teacher said, “Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help.” The girl hesitated, then read, “I think the Seven Wonders of the World are:”
1. to touch
2. to taste
3. to see
4. to hear
She hesitated a little, and then added
5. to feel
6. to laugh
7. and to LOVE
The room was so full of silence you could have heard a pin drop. It is far too easy for us to look at the exploits of man and refer to them as wonders while we overlook what God has done for us. Those things we overlook as simple and “ordinary” are truly wondrous.
POWER OF PRAYER: When you receive this, say a prayer. That’s all you have to do. Just stop right now, and say a prayer and thank God for everything you are now, for your family, friends and the one who sent this to you. Then please send this to all your friends and relatives. Don’t break this, please.
Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive.
There is no cost but a lot of rewards. Remember the five simple rules to be happy 🙂
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.
No one can go back and make a brand new start.
Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. Al you have to do is to look up to him {Psalms 121}.
Disappointments are like road bumps, they slow you down a bit but you enjoy the smooth road afterwards.
Don’t stay on the bumps too long. Move on! When you feel down because you didn’t get what you want, just sit tight and be happy, because God has thought of something better to give you. All things work together for good {Romans 8:28}.
When something happens to you, good or bad, consider what it means. There’s a purpose to life’s events,
to teach you how to laugh more or not to cry too hard.
You can’t make someone love you, all you can do is be someone who can be loved, the rest is up to the person to realize your worth. It’s better to lose your pride to the one you love, than to lose the one you love because of pride. We spend too much time looking for the right person to love or finding fault with those we already love, when instead we should be perfecting the love we give.
Never abandon an oldfriend. You will never find one who can take his place. Friendship is like wine, it gets better as it grows older.Pass it on to your dear friends. I just did.
Be careful of who you hang with and take good care of yourself.
Show a great deal of respect to your elders, especially me.
